Installation Guide

Installing the critter guard is straightforward and requires no drilling. The mesh wraps around the panel perimeter and locks onto the frame with the included clips — most residential arrays take under an hour.

1Measure & cut — measure each panel edge and cut the mesh to length with a wire cutter.
2Fold a 45° lip — fold the extra mesh height inward so birds can’t push over the top.
3Clip it on — hook clips through the mesh onto the panel frame every 12–18 in (30–50 cm).
4Lock & trim — press speed washers tight against the mesh, bend rods upward, snip off the excess.
5Corners & joints — overlap roll joints 2–4 in; slit and fold the mesh around corners, seal gaps with zip ties.

What sizes are available?

8 in × 100 ft rolls are standard; 6 in × 100 ft rolls are also available. Custom roll sizes on request.

How is it installed?

The mesh wraps around the panel perimeter and is fixed with the included clips, J-hooks and zip ties. No drilling required — follow the installation steps and even corners are easy.

Will it damage my solar panels?

No. Installation requires no drilling, and the mesh does not scratch panels or affect their integrity.

Can it be removed later?

Yes. The mesh can easily be removed for panel service or repair and reinstalled afterwards.
